Mistakes Are Proof You Are Trying

If you are like me, then you hate making mistakes.  I recently found myself learning a new job that I had 0 experience in.  My co-workers can zip through the tasks at hand without thinking twice and it takes me 3x’s the effort to just do the simplest thing ... and I still make mistakes. 

But do you think I compare myself to their years of experience?  No!   I’m excited to be there, willing to work, and super focused, but I still make mistakes.  

Remember on your fitness journey that you will make mistakes.  All of those little Instagram and Youtube stars you are following didn’t get there overnight.  Their bodies were years in the making and don’t you think they made some mistakes along the way?  

So, this week, make sure you are not beating yourself up over the little mistakes or getting discouraged because you aren’t where you want to be yet.  Don’t carry the burdens of yesterday into a new day.  Each day is fresh and you don’t have to worry because you are trying to improve.  Sometimes, that “try” is all it takes to succeed and eventually you WILL reach your goals!
