In an interview with Charlie Rose, actor Will Smith says, "You don't set out to build a wall. You don't say, 'I'm going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built.' You don't start there. You say, 'I'm going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid. You do that every single day. And soon you have a wall."  

Has anyone gotten a little overwhelmed recently?  Have you fallen behind on some of those fitness goals you set for yourself?  

We understand that it’s important to have big goals and strive forward daily.  But, sometimes, we can get overwhelmed by the big picture and this can cause us to slow up and maybe even stop our progress.  

Don’t be afraid of that big challenge you set for yourself.  Instead, look at what you can do today to take one small step closer to reaching your goal.

If your goal was to lose a bunch of weight, what is that one thing you can do to eat healthier today, or that one cardio workout you can do to burn more calories?  

It’s one thing to say you’re going to do all these great things for yourself, but without small bits of action each day, then you’re just spouting hot air.  Each successful action is one stone in your wall to reaching your goal.
